8-Day Countdown until the Spring Carnival: Saturday, April 28
As you know, our Room 2 booth is the Monster Toss.  We are looking for volunteers to take a half-hour or hour shift. Please email/call/or talk to me about what shift works for you (ex: 1:00-1:30, 2:00-3:00, set up, clean up, etc…).  Thank you Savana and family for creating our Monster, and thank you to Bryan and his family for signing up for a shift! Your time and talents are greatly appreciated! J

Marble Party/Wednesday, April 25, 2018:
Hip, hip, hooray for Room 2—you filled the Marble Jar!  The class voted to have a “Soda/Snack/Toy Party”. As before, students may bring a toy/game/stuffed animal/doll, etc…that they are willing to share and that fits in their backpack. Students will be able play with them throughout the day at Quiet Choice Time.  If you can send in a snack (popcorn, carrot sticks, animal crackers, etc…), we will gladly eat them after our 1pm recess. Making Good Choices:
We began our “Too Good for Drugs” unit this week.  It is a great continuation of the previous “Too Good for Violence” and “My Plate” lessons.  This week we talked about making good choices about what we do with and what we put into our bodies, setting personal goals, and how all of our choices have consequences—some good, some bad.  Our goal is to have the tools and understanding to make good choices in any situation.
