(Nothing to turn in…)

*Practice reading the sight word flash cards. Continue to review the old flash cards as well.

*Read with your family for 15 or more minutes every day—Now is the time to reread your decodable stories and Journeys’ “theme” stories from your homeworksWork on fluency and comprehension.  See how many words a minute you can read. Practice reading with expression when appropriate. Read books from home.  Read books from the Foresthill Library. Have fun!!!

*Work daily on math flash cards. Keep playing the hand game up to 10.  The goal is to commit math facts—addition and subtraction through 10—to memory so that fingers and counters are no longer necessary.

*Practice identifying and counting coins.  Mix up counting combinations of dimes, nickels, and pennies.  Practice with quarters, also.

*Practice telling time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour, and increments of 5 minutes.
